Giving Back

Caring for our communities has long been part of the Fogelman company culture. Across all our offices and properties, our teams work together to give back.

Fogelman CARES

The Fogelman family and our company have a well-known tradition of philanthropy and community support that spans decades. Fogelman CARES was established in 2008 as a formal structure for Fogelman associates to directly support their local communities through active volunteerism and fundraising.

Programs + Initiatives

Corporate Sponsor Richland Elementary

Our special relationship with Richland Elementary began over 41 years ago. As the longest-serving corporate adopter in Memphis' Adopt-a-School program, we've been honored to support the staff and students at Richland through volunteering at activities such as field day, serving as testing proctors, and sponsoring regular "Most Improved" pizza parties.

Junior Achievement of Memphis & Midsouth Sponsor

In early 2023, Fogelman teamed up with Junior Achievement, a global nonprofit with chapters all over the United States, to open a storefront in Biztown. A simulated city complete with various storefronts such as restaurants, banks, and retail, Biztown is sponsored by local companies whose staff volunteer to teach students the ins and outs of their particular business. Through our involvement with Biztown, we're honored to teach local youth all about real estate investing and property management.

60 Acts of Kindness

In 2023, we launched the special Fogelman CARES initiative, "60 Acts of Kindness" (AOKs), to celebrate our 60th anniversary. To highlight Fogelman's legacy of giving back, we asked all corporate and property teams to complete at least one AOK throughout the year. Across the country, our team members organized food, blood, and school supply drives; donated to fire and police departments; volunteered at shelters, schools, and nonprofits; held fundraiser competitions, and more. By the end of 2023, Fogelman not only met but exceeded its goal, achieving over 100 AOKs and totaling more than 1,000 hours of service nationwide.

Partner Programs & Initiatives

In addition to our annual initiatives across our markets, Fogelman supports corporate partners in their philanthropic endeavors. Whether it's cofounding new nonprofits, providing volunteers, or giving monetary donations, we value the work we do with businesses across the country.
