Memphis-based Fogelman Properties is celebrating 60 years this year, albeit the family-run
firm’s humble beginnings began in the 1940s when Morris Fogelman first launched
Fogelman and Co. At the time the company was solely focused on single-family homes. It
wasn’t until the ’60s the firm began to explore multifamily.

“While 60 years is a huge accomplishment in any industry, it is especially unique in real
estate, which is subject to unpredictable economic cycles. We take great pride in continuing
a family legacy that started six decades ago,” Rick Fogelman said. “ And remain steadfast in
our mission to provide high-quality apartment living environments in thriving metropolitan
markets.”
